This first post will be an introduction to this blog and our love of gardening. Mom is the greatest gardener that I know! She has so much knowledge about plants and loves to work with them. She has visited great gardens locally and around the world! Texas gives her such a nice long growing season! Plumeria cutting is doing great - flowers take time!
Now I don't want to give the impression that she doesn't ever have trouble with some that she tries to grow but I know that she gets great enjoyment from the process and from successes! I am just now beginning to try my hand at ornamental gardening. I have had a very successful vegetable garden in the past and now want to see if I can learn how to decorate my yard with color during the summer and year-round plants. Georgia can be great for flower now that we are no longer in a draught.
